At the age of 7 I was sitting on the steps in a relative’s house with my brother waiting and hoping that their playful spirit that levitated vases, filled closet floors with cereal and many other mischievous things would just show itself to me. Ever since then I’ve been hooked on the paranormal world. Now as an adult I have the opportunity to not only investigate the paranormal but also use some really cool gadgets at the same time!

Do I believe in ghosts? Yes, without a doubt I believe.

MPIA was founded for the purpose of investigating, researching and documenting the paranormal field, in hopes to someday better understand what we do not understand today.    

I can't remember a time that I wasn't interested in ghosts and monsters.  Maybe it was all that SCOOBY DOO and JOHNNY QUEST I watched as a kid.  All I know is that from the minute I got a library card any book involving ghosts, Bigfoot, the loch ness monster, or any collection of scary stories was in my hands.  And then there were those great TV shows like, IN SEARCH OF or PROJECT BLUE BOOK or UNSOLVED MYSTERIES and those classic '70's Bigfoot movies, all of which just added fuel to my fire to find out as much as I could about the strange, the unusual and the unexplained stuff in our world.

Now that I'm older I've taken that childhood fascination and found several like minded friends to actually pursue scientifically all those paranormal things that so intrigued me as a kid.  Using technology and science I hope to find and document the truth about what's going bump in the night.

Since a very young age, I've  been extremely interested in the paranormal and spirit world. To just know that we, or the energy that is us could continue on, or exist in some way after our deaths has always been a quest of mine. To answer that question......does it all end, or does it all continue after death would be a lynch pin to solving in my mind, many other of life's unanswered questions, from the philosophical to the religious.

My approach is strictly from the scientific standpoint, I want quantifiable evidence, hard readings to prove many of my own theories about this phenomenon. And after talking about this subject many, many times in the past, I got together with a few of my friends who share the same drive to find and prove that ghosts do indeed exist, and together we formed MPIA. Now the hard part begins of capturing proof, either visual, audio, or even residual proof that can be measured via our test equipment, of which I'm sure with persistence and time will pay off, and help answer my questions.

My background is centered around audio. I've been involved with capturing audio in the studio environment for many years. As far as the paranormal goes I believe I don't have all the answers and so far I just have not seen enough indisputable evidence to convince me of anything. My goal is to use science and tools to conclusively establish proof of the paranormal

I first became aware of the paranormal when I was 12 years old while briefly living in a house that had some unexplainable phenomenon. I was warned of these strange occurrences and laughed it off as an attempt to scare a gullible kid. I was certainly mistaken and those events inspired me to delve into the world of the unknown.

In college, I studied music and audio production. Partnering with MPIA gave me the opportunity to apply the principals and techniques I studied in school to the field of paranormal research. I have fully embraced the most current and cutting edge technology to make the most of gathering audio evidence on any given investigation.

My interest in paranormal began in 1998 after I captured a strange oddity on camera in Farmington Missouri (private cemetery). My primary interest in the paranormal is audio, and video.  I like to combine my road experience with the investigations that we conduct, and use my interview and investigative skills to better understand the client, and what exactly may be the cause.

 

I have to admit it, my interest in the paranormal is rather new compared to most. I suppose my Christian upbringing prevented me from looking for those answers of "what is out there". At that time, I was so sure of exactly what happens, and it didn't leave much room for anything occult or unexplained. As I've gotten slightly older, I have began to question those old school philosophies and have decided to find the answers for myself. I'm no longer content being told how it is... I need something a little more substantial to truly believe in anything.

Through my investigations, I try taking a scientific approach to capture hardcore evidence. While I've never had formal schooling in electronics or engineering, I do have a knack for making gadgets. I have finally found an outlet that allows me to combine my interest for the paranormal, and an "outside of the box" way of thinking.

In my life, many beloved people and animals have passed on. I've been left with many great memories and a lot of questions. The truth is, death scares me. I'm hoping to make the unknown, known. I feel searching for answers will help calm my fears, and I hope I can make peace with death.

I worked in a local nursing home as a Certified Nurses Assistant for several years. Sadly, I have been present while many people have died. And I've often been the first and only person with the bodies right after death. Cleaning and preparing their bodies before the coroner comes to claim them is one of the toughest and saddest responsibilities as a CNA. It's a somber experience that still haunts me.

My interest in paranormal activities go back to my childhood. I have lived in several houses that have had unexplained activities. I believe spirits are on earth, but need answers as to why they are here. I hope joining MPIA will help me further my understanding of the paranormal world. And help answer several questions I have about what happens to your spirit when you die.
